As students pass the halfway mark at Concord-Carlisle, the emphasis is clearly on helping students and their parents begin post-secondary planning. Parents and students should carefully read the monthly CCHS Newsletter, as well as check the Department calendar on this website to assure that they do not miss important information about critical junior issues, such as PSAT dates and college mini-fairs. PSAT scores and a transcript are mailed home in December and a booklet entitled Information for Post-Secondary Planning is mailed mid-winter. These documents serve as the basis for students to begin planning for after graduation.
Students should plan to attend a series of three student groups, and both students and parents are invited to the evening series. Families are also encouraged to schedule a conference with their son's/daughter's counselor to evaluate their record, discuss options, and personalize counselor recommendations. Students and parents should also use the links below as supplements to counselor meetings.
Parents are encouraged to contact teachers, counselors or school adjustment counselors with questions or concerns that might arise during the school year.
