"A star, a mirage, the flame of a lamp,
An illusion, a drop of dew, or a bubble,
A dream, a flash of lightning, a cloud -
See conditioned things as such."
"Conditioned things" are those that arise due to causes and conditions.
Our universe and everything in it is constantly in a state of flux (change).
Our view of the universe is based on our false mental perception of it.
Scientific views change as new information becomes available.
All phenomena are fleeting and impermanent.
Look at the moon. Do you see the sun?
Look in a mirror. Is it you?
