Summer Reading List

Each year the librarians of the Alcott, Thoreau, and Willard Schools create a summer reading list as a resource to guide children and their families in the selection of summer reading materials. Special attention is given to choosing titles that are fun, age appropriate, and reflect curriculum areas in the coming year. These titles broaden a child's knowledge base and help build a foundation of quality literature. Care is also taken to include titles from the state English Language Arts frameworks.
