ActivStudio

Adobe Acrobat

ImageReady |
Create an animated image from a series of similar pictures. The image on the top left of CMS Student links was made in ImageReady. |

Excel

Create spreadsheets for organizing data and tracking costs or math functions. |

FirstClass
|
Our email software.
Note: In school the server should be set to 10.0.4.8. At home the server should be set to mail.colonial.net. |

Google Earth |
Explore the Earth from above. Use screen capture (Apple-Shift-4) to use images in your projects and lessons. |

GarageBand
|
Music composition |

iMovie
|

Inspiration

Create idea webs and diagrams using symbols, links, and text. Convert to outlines and import/export to and from Microsoft Word. |

iPhoto |
Imports images from your digital camera and can organize all images you use from Internet resources and/or digital cameras. |

iTunes

Sorts your music files. |

PowerPoint |
Can be used to create multimedia presentations combining image, sound and movies. |

Quicktime
|
Plays quicktime videos, a common format of videos on the Internet. |

Safari
|
Our web browser for exploring the Internet. |

Text Edit
|
Basic text editing software, used for HTML and "Read Mes". |

Ultrakey
|
Learn and practice touch typing. |

Windows Media Player |
Play windows media player movies, another common format for videos on the Internet. |

Word
