The Children's Literature Web Guide
The Massachusetts Children's Book Award - established in 1975 through Salem State College, the Mass. Book Award is a reading incentive program we use with Willard fifth grade students. This reading incentive scheme includes titles chosen to appeal to a wide variety of interests and reading levels. Students are required to read a minimum of five titles from the list and provide a written response based on a prompt. Students who participate are eligible to submit their vote for their favorite title.

Guys Read - developed by Jon Scieszcka, author of The Time Warp Trio and other titles that appeal to reluctant boy readers, this site is devoted to getting boys to enjoy reading.
