Download the Ideas/Design Book Log: Record your daily goals and acomplishments and important notes, for example your team's cast when you get to that step.
Pre-research: Visit several sites, determine a topic, and explore the essential questions you want your newscast to cover.
Essential Question: With your team, develop an essential question your newscast will answer. Download the proposal planner and get your proposal approved. We will use online resources here to learn more about essential questions.
Review your Internet information literacy before you begin the next research stage on your topic.

Research the event: The newscast should cover who, what, when where why and include an interview with an expert related to the topic of the news event, or find a Primary Sources directly related to your topic that gives youadditional informaiton.
Plan your script: Each group is to prepare a written or typed script of the newscast to be given to the instructor prior to the presentatio. So that our scripts sound authentic, we'll review tips on writing good interview questions: http://www.notrain-nogain.org/Train/Res/Report/intv.asp
Assign an anchor(s), interviewee(s), and cameraman.
