An update from math class:

All classes are continuing with their study of percents and their applications. I am aiming to finish the percent unit and give a unit test on Friday, October 17. Following the percent unit, we will begin the Statistics and Graphing Unit. Students will complete a Survey Research Project requiring them to collect data regarding the upcoming Presidential Election and display it using multiple graphs. Finally, as the trimester winds down, we will wind our way towards probability, the mathematics of chance.
