This is the place you will find everything you need to know for your 8th Grade math course. For most of you, this means a full year of Algebra 1. For some of you, this is a year of Pre-Algebra to get you ready for your 9th grade math course at CCHS. In Algebra and Pre-Algebra this year, we will do extensive work with Linear Equations, the foundation for all of Algebra. We will also cover, rational expressions, linear systems, exponents, factoring, and quadratics.

Materials: You will need a scientific calculator in class almost everyday. Models range from $9.99 to $19.99. I highly recommend two-line models. These can be found at any office supply store. I also recommend graph paper notebooks and of course a supply of pencils and erasers.

I will also use engrade as my primary gradebook, and all students will be given a unique access code to be able to view their grades in real time.
