 Journal Prompt: While Ballads have a strong narrative thrust, lyric poems tend to emphasize the emotions of the speaker.  And, as contradictory as it may see, Wordsworth sometimes wrote Òlyrical ballads.Ó  Therefore, in your journal explain what emotions Wordsworth is exploring and which images give the poem its meaning.
