Ms. Shea's first and second semester POTTERY students: Please come to the pottery studio today, Thursday or Friday to glaze work or wrap and take home finished pieces. Come during homeroom or lunch -- last day will be this Friday.
Yearbook Notice: Mr. Stern has opened up on-line sales of the yearbook for one more day. If you have not yet purchased your yearbook, you have until midnight tonight to order one. 6th Grade Notes
6TH GRADE PARENTS' SOCIAL: Please join us on Saturday, May 31st (Note new date) from 7:30-10:00 PM at the home of the Andonians, 55 Captain Miles Lane. We will provide the cups, ice and appetizers; please bring anything you would like to drink (soda, wine, beer, seltzer water etc.). This will be our final event of the school year; it will provide an opportunity for parents to connect with one another before the summer. Intramural lacrosse for both boys and girls meet at Peabody's Cushing Field from 2:30 to 4:30 on the following days: TODAY 5/14, Thurs, 5/15, Fri 5/16, Mon, 5/19, Thurs, 5/22, Fri, 5/23, Wed, 5/28, Thurs, 5/29, Fri, 5/30 and Mon, 6/2. Please contact Mr. Beers or Mrs. Welburn with any questions. Girls do not need goggles or pads.
Intramural softball meets on the lower field at Sanborn on Mondays and Thursdays until 4:30.

Community Events for CMS Kids
Pizza with the Police, Friday, May 16, 2:45 – 4:20 pm, Sanborn Cafeteria.Come eat some pizza and meet local police officers. Concord Police Officers will be there for an interactive discussion with students about being a public safety officer in Concord. Learn about different police specialties like K9, SWAT, and the Motor Cycle Unit. Pizza and drinks will be provided by the Concord Police Department.
Girl's field hockey players: If you are interested in attending a pre-season field hockey clinic at CCHS this summer please see Ms. Welburn for a brochure. This clinic is open to 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. The clinic will be run by various field hockey coaches as well as members of the CCHS varsity field hockey team.
Travel Ultimate Frisbee team - this team will participate in a middle school Ultimate tournament on May 31 in Amherst, MA. To prepare for this tournament practices will be held Saturday mornings in May, and participation in the CMS intramural ultimate is strongly recommended. Participants must have some experience playing Ultimate and be willing to work hard to prepare for the competition against other middle school teams.
